I have noticed on a few jobs now the mavic 3 has been skipping saving my DNG files, I will get a DJI
_656, DJI_657 then say it will skup to DJI_659.
Major issue as I will have to reshoot a job as I have missing images in my panoramas.
It will save the JPG not the DNG....

Bad. But maybe is the SD card too slow or defective. I am assuming you have the standard M3, not Cine. If not.. ignore my ignorant reply ;-)

Hi it is the M3 not the Cine, I have a san disk extreme pro, its plenty quick enough for DNG and never had an issue with the card before.. this is a replacement M3 so hoping its not an issue and the previous although had bad lens did save dng's fine

Never...how log have you used the card? The contacts on the card get worn......just putting out a possible reason. Pay no attention to me. A retired test engineer is just suspicious of everything.

Why not create the panorama from the jpg files?

Were you accidentally in Explore mode?
It won't shoot dng if the binocular icon is yellow.

You can rule out the SD card by using the internal storage and see if it still skips.

Nope 24mm lens... I need dng.. I didnt save dng and jpg this time.

True I can try this..  I will also try another card.. This SD card has always worked fine on the Mavic 2 pro and the other M3 that I had.. But yes could be the card

Not saying it is the card,   but with the internal storage you have a way to rule that out.

Yes sorry replying to yours and another in one message. I have never seen a drone or camera do this... I will test another card
