Hi,
If I set the flight mode button to C when the RC pro is turned off and I turn on the RC Pro and start DJI Fly app, the app doesn't see the C mode but the N mode is selected (printed at the high left corner of the app). To select C mode, I need to switch back to N and re-select C.

It is like as the app doesn't read the status button when the app starts and initializes the mode variable always to N mode.

Anyone observ the same behavior ?

The behaviour you describe is correct.

The RC has to ‘see’ the switch change state in order to change modes and will always default to Normal on start up.

Hi,
Okay thank you for the confirmation. However it is a very old fashion to interact between HW and SW.

I believe this is actually done for safety,  if you'd left it in sports mode and the device didnt reset to normal you may get a surprise.

Correct, it makes more sense. Good remark :-)
