Time to strip the fields......


This farmer field didnt get used for crops last year,  so assuming they left it to fallow they are now getting it ready for next year.

Thanks Mr B.  I used a little digital zoom on the Mini2 and I have to say I regret it,  the image was very soft even with just a tiny bit of zoom.

Perhaps descending to a lower altitude might have been the better option?

Yes it would have,   with the smart controller the right hand wheel is configured for zoom on the mini2 so I thought Id try it,   now I know not to bother.

Cool top down shot DA.  I remember how most farmers where I grew up used to rotate their crop fields and looks like this farmer was doing the same.  Looks like you caught a little bit of good weather to catch this shot.

Yes we do the same here,  they leave a field each year to fallow and then rotate them each year.   As a kid I  remember walking through a fallow field and it had about 6 different crops growing in it.

I was a bit disappointed with it,  the Smart Controller maps the right hand wheel to the zoom feature on the Mini2 and I used a tiny amount of zoom in this shot and it was very soft because of it.  I wont be using it again for footage.

I bought a Minelab CTX 3030 detector and I have used it for both underwater and on land searches.  Found numerous rings on the beaches.

It's the #1 rig for underwater use.  You have both visible and audio signals on alerts.  The waterproof headphones work great.

I'm sure it was quite the engineering feat.  Probably ruined a few sets during initial testing I'm sure.

Numerous watches and rings along with a ton of trash (cans and other metallic waste).  During a fresh water dive I found a rod and reel.

lol.   Years ago I found a beautiful rod and reel.  Climbed down the sea wall to recover it.  Cleaned it up and popped it in the boot.    Later that day we went to the yacht club and my GF at the time was telling everyone how lucky we were,   someone then told her that the rod was lost by her x-BF so I had to give it back.   I wasnt impressed.
