I love using the last option, the route (aka waypoints). I normally start closer at home, move away, trying to change the angle a little (only a little) and maybe altitude. Then adjust the duration of the movie and REVERSE the sequence. So you just start away and by the time you're done, you're almost home.
Granted, with M3 batteries this reverse trick may not be needed, but I just prefer playing it safe.

Cool.  I didn't know there was a hyperlapse release.  Thought just the active track.  Oops.  Guess I'll take the girl out today.  Thanks. LOL

Technically, this is a timelapse (since the camera does not move), but it is a great one!
