Same happened here.  Just got the new Skydio 2+ and wanted to use it to video my grandson racing his gokart but the gusty winds put a halt to getting airborne.  Oh well, there will be other days to try again.

Even more frustrating... The wind dropped right off later in the afternoon, but by that time I'd committed to doing some other stuff.... Was actually a perfect late afternoon / early evening for flying, but I remained earth bound

Wouldn't it be nice if the weather was a bit more predictable?  Anyway, at least we both got other things accomplished.
