Reading in Forum, the firmware of the M3 is not fully finished, or better said it wil be updated in the near future, and will bring more and more recently missing features. I am a happy owner of a M2Pro drone, but its production and support after a while is to be ended (what is a certain movement of a manufacturer). The biggest problem here in EU the lacking of a 'C' labeling, so I decided if M3 will be Cx labeled I will purchase one. I'm just curious if anybody of you heard about Dynamic Home Function will be implemented on M3, (or perhaps already has it?). IMO it would be a very nice feature (M2P lacks it). Thank you for any reaction.

Unfortunately its not there yet, and regarding C label, EASA have already come out and said retro fit can be added later and this would include fitting the label by the user from home, so once the drone comply then you can apply for label to be fitted by you from home. All this will depend on drone compliance with the EASA protocol for category  rating.

Thank you for your answer. Dont you know  if  this "retro fit" will also be  available for M2(P)?

I’m not sure if a simple label would do for M2P but it may be possible to retro fit at manufacturers , but M2 is getting a bit old now so hard to know.

Weren't DJI selling  Mavic 2 Pro/Zoom new right up until the M3 was released? I seem to remember a few posts/threads commenting on the fact that they had disappeared from DJI's store when the M3 appeared etc..

M2P is too heavy to get any benefit from a C label,  its over 900 grams.

AFIK it could be eligible for C2/A2 , t least here: drone that has low speed mode (M2 doesn't have, but I think it would be only firmwere update) and under 4 kg.

But that would require an additional qualification.
