You can lock AE either with the Fn-Button or by swiping over the screen. That’s ok (although I‘d prefer a designated symbol on the screen) - but why is the no sign that AE is locked?! Maybe a little keylock symbol for example beside the cam settings in the lower right corner of the screen.

Thanks for your reply. May we know which product you are using? Also, we want to know about App version and firmware version.

Hi! I use the Air2S and the Mini2 - both on the actual uptodate FW-Versions. The FlyApp ist on Version 1.5.4 (589).
In earlier Version of the FlyApp, AE-Lock was done by touching a symbol on the screen - which was easy! Now with the newer App Versions, the swipe or the usage of the Fn works too, but are not so convenient. BUT: it is really so annoying and confusing, that no symbol appears, when AE is locked, to show me THAT AE is locked. Should be easy for the App-Developers to implement something like a keylock-symbol to appear on the screen when the users locks the AE…

Hi, there. Would you please check the followed information?
AE lock only supports being used under Auto mode rather than Manual mode.
You may tap the screen, of which will appear a yellow quadrangle and test the exposure, press and hold it.  A notification indicates AE lock will pop out. There will be an icon of a yellow lock, thereby telling you the exposure value has been locked.
If the problem persists, can we have a video to further verify the issue?

True! But under sunny conditions that’s not ideal! Why not a little symbol that stays on the lower right corner?! Easy to see… even when using the Fn
