I just came over the mountain a few minutes ago and saw a train on that ghost station line, unfortunately I was driving in the opposite direction in traffic but can confirm that the line is still in use by a goods train - diesel loco. Shot with pocket2 while driving on a mountain pass in traffic!

That is the tradition for many here - but it is mostly just a time to buy expensive goods that you dont really need and will regret when the dredit card bill arrives.

Just saw a quote (of unconfirmed authenticity) by the leader of the political contenteder leader saying that we no longer need farmers because we buy all our food from the shops

Now thats a guy not to vote for.   Here a lot more people do the meal and some small gifts or none at all,  mostly its the younger ones that do the full on.  go bankrupt over Christmas approach.

I used the mini2, sphere. uploaded to skypixel then in small planet view I just used my mouse to rotate and move the pic around till it looked goood to me, did a screen capture, used some old canon  zoombrowser to adjust the colour a bit (not much) and saved it. Used microsoft paint to resize and there you go.

Hope this encourages you to try it out - would like to see the results you get.

Thanks for the encouragement, I'll have to bear these in mind if I get a drone myself and get around Skypixel. :-) Seems it took you some effort, but the end result is worth it!
