I've run out of Owls for the time being, but this haughty-looking hare was snapped by the P2 on the way home, Boxing day.
An appropriate day. Hares can sometimes be seen 'boxing' in the mating season.

Thanks. Strange, isn't it.  I noticed the first one several months ago, but now they've achieved the level of consciousness I seem to be spotting them everywhere

Yes. I've driven past this numerous times, and always thought the whiskers were twigs. But I was able to stop the car nearby and spend a few minutes close-up for the first time.  The whiskers are indeed stiff wire.

Not really,   I usually dictate them to her,   My current project is building new PCBs for the sensors on my CNC machine,   I want to upgrade it to the newer style controllers but all my sensors are designed for the older boars so I need new circuits for them,   using 4n25 's throughout the new circuits for extra safety.

Not sure,   its been on my list since September,  but Ive built the new PCBs and setup a test setup with the motors and so far everything works well,  just need to work on the laser interface next and I'll be ready to do the horrible job of the installation.   Its all low under the machine and hard to get to.

I once saw a demonstration, in France. Quite a few years ago now. The guy has several chainsaws of different sizes - one was so small he could use it with one hand and the blade was only maybe 10cms.
He was working on a piece for about half an hour, and  reckoned the whole work might take him two days.  And yes, it's noisy
