Hi Folks,

I've been using the iPad 9.7" 6th generation for several of my drones including both the Air 2s and Mavic 3 with no known issues. I see that it's not on the list of recommended devices and not sure why. Is anyone else using the same device with good results? It uses the 64-bit A10 fusion chip so should be fast enough to be included on the recommended list.

My iPad Air (3rd gen) works fine, just a step up from your iPad in terms of CPU.

Any tablet iOS or Android you'll need to upgrade to a longer cable. Lots of choices on Amazon and eBay.

Most Apple devices will work whether it shows as supported or not since Apple is DJI's main platform. Especially with DJI Fly being removed from the Google play store lately.

Just wondering how the ipad 6th gen is holding up for you in 2023 and any flyapp issues. I have the MA2 and about to pull the trigger on a second hand ipad 6. The tablet will only be used for flying and nothing else. Thanks

I've sold that device but I'm sure it would still work. I now use both the DJI RC and the DJI RC Pro so no need any longer. I occasionally use my Samsung  Tab S6 when I'm needing a larger screen and that works flawlessly as well

Still works. At first boot it said CPU might be too small and that there might be problems but I haven't
noticed anything yet.
