The ran held off, and I managed to find a quieter spot away from the crowds, but it was blowing a hoolie at 105/ 110 metres up this evening.
Even with a high ISO, I'm not sure any video would have been 'shake free' so resorted to shooting stills...

(like a pillock, I've resized them to 1MB and not 2, hope DJI appreciate the server spoace I've saved them

Pretty good for a first attempt Chris.   My first go I did agonise over getting the drone back but that landing light does help finding it in the sky.

Thank you, I call up the big map display from the small screen on the lower right hand side and fly it back that way...was more worried that I'd be fighting against the wind and run out of battery over water...as it was, landed with about 3 minutes left, so a lesson for another time.

Amen to that, but in the dark, no one can see the look of terror on your face or hear you cussing and cursing to yourself as you fly in home!!

Thank you, if it had gone t*ts-up, all pilot error. I do wonder if the slightly heavier Air2 is better than the Mini2 in strong winds, or if there's little / no difference.

Both my Mini1 and M2Z will fly in moderate winds - all the while offering dire warnings - but I prefer to wait for calm days.
