I made sure I was the same side as the drone to the mast just in case there was interference and it did a RTH.

Rotate the image 90 degrees clockwise. Do you see the  outline of an old 6-wheel locomotive in the sewage farm outline?  Or is it just me?

Good thinking, I'm very wary of masts, some of those dishes put out huge amounts of power, especially the microwave re-broadcast ones...

Lovely sunny day here, but chilly.

We had some snow flurries but they didnt settle,  low today is -2 but it should be sunny.   Sadly I arranged to help machine some mahogany today,  but in return I will get enough to make some more picture frames.

Funny you should say that, I've had that on my Air2 recently, no sign of images on the card but synched onto my phone...there was a firmware update recently, I applied that one and am wondering if it had some 'side affects'..there was a "synch to phone" switch on, but I cannot remember setting that?

Sync to phone has been around for a while,  it usually mangles the exif data though,  but that shouldn't remove whats on the sd card.  Might be time to format it in the drone.

Yes with the Go4 app it works really and then my iCloud sync saves the images for me,    after we had everything stolen in Italy that was the only way to recover all my photos,  as of course they stole the laptop,  SSD and drone SD cards.
With the latest version of the Fly app not even AEB shots are being saved, just singles and video it seems.

Where in Italy are you thinking?   Pulgia is really nice or further south there is some much less touristy spots.

I did in Lanzarote and didnt have any issues at all.   If you can fly by stealth then you normally dont have an issue.

Didn't take mine to Tenerife last Nov, but someone flying a drone was forced to land and hassled by rangers (was in Teide park though). Is sometime off, so will see what happens over the summer in Italy.
