With the new SDK for DJI Mini 2, DJI Air 2S, and DJI Mini SE is possible for the Litchi App to control the DJI drones and add features like Active Track, Panorama, Orbit, Follow Me Mode, and Waypoint Missions.

Why does DJI provide an SDK if they do not recommend using 3rd party applications?

Remember that DJI hasn't supported Apple with the SDK yet.
Question: The Apple app is $22.99.  But the app includes in-app purchases.  So exactly what does the $22.99 buy you and are you nickel and dimed to death with in-app purchases? Like you have to buy each feature separately?

Thanks for sharing!  Are there any EXP settings in Litchi? The EXP values stored in the drone with the Fly app remain also for flying with LItchi?

Just because DJI hasn't released the Mini 2 SDK yet doesn't mean the Apple version of Litchi doesn't exist.  Whenever they enable the SDK for iOS the Litchi app will also work with the Mini 2.  Here's a link to the app. It just doesn't support Mini 2 yet.

BTW APKs are Android-specific. There is no such thing as "APK"s for iOS.

What about when the DJI app is no longer working for the mini 2? Ive been trying to use it on my trip and have not even been able to get the app open. Im readung its because of the new updates for the mini 3.

Maven offers most of the same features for $17.99, but is iOS only.  I've had pretty good success with it.

Never tried Litchi, but I imagine it works similarly - because the DJI SDK is really what controls the drone, you can actually flip back and forth between apps mid flight and one app picks up where the other left off.  Kinda cool.
