Where did the water go? We haven't had any major rain since June, so nothing is flowing here.

Very nicely done Tentoes.    Landscape definitely looks arid.  Seems like weather has been really odd this past year, at least here in Florida anywhere.

Not unusual, really. We get wet weather and dry weather, just on on any predictable schedule.

We've just had a week of fairly mild weather, with some sunshine today.  I expect the coldest spell is just over the horizon, and will last into early March, as usual in these parts.

Likely this spring.

There is also a long-term weather cycle here. They get 30 or 40 years of nice weather, then 10 years of drought.  That's what the dust bowl was all about. People came and had decades of good farming weather but did not know a 10-year drought was coming. More severe out in the panhandle to the west than here.
