If you have a handle mounted on the NATO mount, check the mount once in a while (not the tightness of the knob, but the mount itself.) It seems this mount is not designed to handle the weight of 9 pound rigs. Mine all of a sudden came loose while in briefcase mode. If I didn't have my hand on the battery grip, the whole thing would have crashed to the ground. Upon removing the handle, I found that the bottom of the RS2's NATO mount had worn out just from normal handling. Don't trust this mount to handle the weight of your rig. You might regret it.
