I didnt realise they were still closed.  That I would drive more into the supermarkets.   Early on they limited the numbers in store at a time which was good but they stopped that.

I think that would have been sufficient (limiting the nr of people) , but they decided otherwise.

Most stores here moved away from that as soon as they could which is a shame.   But we get there for 6am when it opens and its usually peaceful at that time,  and I get to try sunrise shots or watch the rats in the carpark.

I spoke to the ranger and they were aware of it and its being treated as abandoned.   Growing something by the sounds of it.

I found the path in by going over with the drone and following it back out but its too overgrown now to get in.

As of today all shops are 'open' again. And the infections are quite high (highest numbers so far)
So I can only hope it is enough.

One to cautiously revisit in the summer, when it's warmer and sunnier perhaps?

They could,  but for health and safety they would have to remove the barbed wire fence to get into the area,  and Im not sure they cared enough.

Yes.  Its getting a bit old here.  Especially with the government having all their parties during the lockdown.

One thing I have learned about finding things out where they should not be, there are plenty of people that just want to be off-grid and just do not want you around.  Be careful.

Cheers Tony,   I spoke with the rangers and they were aware of the site,  it was used for some illegal growing a while back and is since abandoned.
