A good time of year for that flight, with all the leaves on the ground, and better visibility

Nicely done Alex.    Would also be a great location to buzz the FPV around in.

I miss my FPV a lot - but I can't keep 2 drones ready and charged and with me ... so it seats in the bag

That's good to hear, especially when so many others continue to say that the firmware needs tweaking for several issues still.  

I see your little buddy is by your side.  Mine kinda jumped around when flying near trees and almost went into a different branch.  I should have filmed it.  I was just terrifed since around water.

It depends on the model and settings - If You speak about M3 You should change the setting to Stop instead of Bypass and It'll be better
And Mika is very used to drones - only once 3 years ago she jumped my MP on start and had scratched nose (MP fall from ~40 cm on his back with no problems ) and she lost her appetite for drones
