I baught a dji Ronin rs2 Pro Combo end of october and everything was ok. I don't know why, but after a firmware update end of December, suddenly the focus motor didn't worked anymore. I have checked everything in the settings and connections (i used two differents) but nothing happened. It acts like if  the motor had no power anymore or if something was blocked inside. It is very strange. Do you have a clue?

unfortunately yes and I checked with several cables

was the focus motor also connected during your last firmware update of the RS-2?
some firmware also brings an update for the motor.

the update stops at 80% on the phone/pad and it is necessary to wait
until the update is completed on the gimbal display (sometimes it also needs a restart of the RS-2).

Yes i think it was connected. But i waited for the dji to restart, i didn't shut it down.

if the RS-2 restarts automatically during the update, a manual restart is not necessary.
if not, this will help.

I tried everything, still the same...

Maybe it is broken, does DJI repair this kind of material?

got the same trouble today... yesterday it was working fine, today it stuck...

Honestly same thing happening here. This is a new gimbal and doesn’t work. This is unacceptable for this price range and reliability.
