Is the Samsung Galaxy S7 no longer supported in Fly app 1.5.4?

Let me try this then: Do I need to downgrade the app to use the Galaxy S7?

Why not simply try it?
Just for the record 1.5.4 works on my S6.

Hello there MDMotion. Good day and thank you for the inquiry. After checking the recommended mobile device list of the DJI Fly application I am sorry to say that the said mobile devices are not recommended for the said DJI application. There is a possibility that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be able to work with the DJI Fly application. But however, since it's not yet optimized with the said DJI application we cannot guaranteed if it will work all the time and if it will be able to run all the functions of the DJI Fly application while using it. Thank you.

MDMotion : It seems that DJI has lately reduced the list of approved devices drastically, especially Android ones. We do not know the reason. But I think it is safe to assume for now that most of the devices on a prior list are still ok. I know that my ASUS tablet and Samsung S9 phone still work fine even for the Mavic 3. This is always an issue. As DJI updates the software and drone capabilities, there must be an update to the "official" device specs. In short, we are all on own own to use devices outside the list.

i have a samsung and a huawei phone and i cant find the dji fly app on either of them on the playstore... someone else sent me a link for the app but not all functions work and i cant upgrade the firmware?? i only bought the drone 2 days ago not sure what to do now?

Michael, I'd give 1.4.12 a go.  If you try 1.5.1 use the variant from Nov. 17, 2021.  You can find 1.4.12 and other versions here.  Hope you get the issue sorted out soon.

My Samsung Galaxy S7 still works just fine with the latest version of the Fly app.

I suspect DJI just wanted to shorten their "compatibility" list by dropping the older devices as new products come to market??

DJI Fly (for my Mini1) not working with my new Samsung A73(Android version 12). What a shame ! How to fix this or any work around ?
