Kind of unimportant if you cant get the video in the drone back isn't it? I will continue to fly my M2P until this is resolved.

Good one, I had M2P and now M3 - M3 is so much better at filming and overall! And I also use Normal mode as D-Log is unusable while flying and Normal is simply Great

90% of footage with sun in direct sight have a very strong green dot from reflex of light from behind of sensor. Is pretty common to all drones...Probably it was there but in same direction with the highlights and could be canceled easy this time.

I understand, but of all the video clips that I have viewed on this and other forums, the Mavic 3 is the drone that has the most pronounced solid green dot on display whereas the other drones have 'normal' flaring.

I agree with you...But is nothing you can do here but try to open the AP more (as the AP is smaller, the flares will be stronger)...
Is all about construction of optical group and quality of lenses...A coating in this case helps a lot, but seems that this no quality AR coating on M3 lens...perhaps will appear some filters with a good AR coating for M3...

I knw very little about photographic matters stills and videos. You will have a great deal more knowledge than myself on these matters. Thank you for trying to impart some of that know-how to me.
