Attendez que DJI publie le SDK pour le Mavic 3 et que les créateurs de logiciels de photogrammétrie puissent mettre à jour leurs applications pour utiliser le Mavic 3.

Ensuite, il ne devrait pas être pire que le Mavic 2 pour la cartographie.

hopefully they release SDK for Mavic3 sooner rather than later.

The news is that there is no SDK and DJI has no plans to release one.
Hoping that DJI will release it one day is unrealistic and will only cause further disappointment..

The normal Mavic 3 edition can't be programmed for automatic missions for the moment, but you can do it manually.

I made this model of the castle of Peniscola last week just to test it. Model is decimated to fit in 100MB sketchfab limit. https://skfb.ly/oAuwB

If you want to do photogrammetry for mapping, you should check the enterprise edition with the RTK module.

You can always set the timer in the fly app to two seconds, for example, ant then just fly around the subject in cine mode, so you don't need to be manually pressing the button every picture. That way is more enjoyable.

For automation, you need a drone with free SDK, like the Mini 2 or the Air2S, at least until the M3 gets support.

Would you mind to tell me how you went about taking the photos?
Something like 1 flight with gimbal at -90°, 4 flights in different directions with the gimbal at -60° with x % overlap...?

this is great work.

It was just one flight, didn't plan it pretty well XD

Tried to do two orbits and then some nadir shots. Flew in Cine mode with the  timer set to two seconds and then edited the images in Metashape building the mesh from the depth maps instead than from the dense point cloud, as the result is more detailed and cleaner and the processing is  quite faster.

Once you have done a manual mission you can use the created object to plan an autonomous secondary mission in Metashape, using all the data you've captured before to optimize the flight or flights, but of course, that can be used in the Mavic 3 atm.

Guys who have a problem with the gimbal of the Mavic 3? Twitches like crazy...

of course i wasn't able to automatise the process as the SDK doesn't exist, so i made everything manual, 540 photos covering the entire building. 1h30 of flight. But the result is very satisfying and there are lot of details

d'habitude mes modèles sont si lourds...aussi, tu prends sevral altitude hpto or only one circle ?

I'm amazed how well the model turned out while the flight route seemed quite short and relatively simple.

J'espere vraiment que le sdk soit dispo courant 2023 pour le mavic 3

I see your screenshot there is from Mission Planner. And no, Mission Planner to Litchi converter will not work here because Mavic 3's SDK isn't out yet.
Maybe in the future if I learn about how DJI's own implementation of Waypoints work, I could add Mission Planner-to-DJI-Fly as a feature in my converter
