Mini 2 does 100+ image HDR pano.....

Just testing out the Litchi pano mode,  this was generated with just over 100 photos taken in AEB mode and then stitched in Lightroom.

And a warmer version with some crop.

Impressive. Did you shoot the individual shots manually or use a third party app? How big was the final resolution?

How does Lightroom compare to PTGui?

Wow, great HDR pano DA.  I tend to like the warmer version a bit better.  Litchi Beta appears to be working quite well.

How does Lightroom compare to PTGui?

Lightroom just blends and s stitches all in one operation and you have very little choice on how it works,  PTGui gives a lot more options.

The orginal took 140+ images but I ha to knock it back to get it to stitch,  Lightroom was using 8gb of ram and spent about 50 minutes doing it.

Using the Litchi beta for Mini2 on the smart controller,  you define how many rows/columns/nadirs you want and if you start in AEB mode you get three shots in each location and then manually stitch later.   The DNG from Lightroom after sticking was about 150mb.

Cheers DT,  I prefer warmer too.   Did a test with Litchi and waypoints yesterday,  plotted out a little oval route and had it fly it multiple times and it appears it was spot on,  Hoping to be able to use that to do long term Timelapse shots through the seasons.

This was the first attempt with Litchi,   still in testing stages,   I usually do my HDR panos manually and I was hoping for another solution for the lazy days.

I dont really do Lazy days thats true,   Boxing Day was one though,   In a couple of weeks I will start lifting the tiles floor in the kitchen,  re level it and then re title.   They will keep me busy for a bit.

Half the floor was originally laid on over an inch of adhesive and we've spent years having to repair that part. somehow I need to lift it and fill it to bring it up to the level as the rest of the kitchen,  thats the origin house and the extension part is at a higher level.

Yes. I will need the one that goes on thicker though I think.   Until I get it up I dont fully know whats under there.

The house was a billet house during the war,  at the bottom of the road in the playing field was a barracks.  Because of that the original floors were all damaged and were replaced by a previous owner with cement.  Which is a real shame as I on a hill on one side of the house there is at least 5 feet under the living room floor,  that I would have made accessible but the cement messed that up.

My parents had an issue with rats coming fro the neighbours house,  they got under the floor and like to eat the power cables.

Out in France it was the fuines (pine martens) that would get into the lofts of older houses and chew the cables. Never happened to us thank goodness.

We had some sort of weasel run through the MIL front garden and up the window late Sumer,  that was a surprise and the only wild one Ive ever seen.

We had all manner of wildlife through the garden in France.  I may already have regaled you with that info

That's impressive, think I prefer the crop version (just)...Dedication to stitch it all manually together, too! Was in a time consuming job?

Now that sounds like an exciting project.  With the waypoints and different seasons should make for some great comparisons.
