DJI just updated the Pilot App on the M300 transmitter. We have been using an 11" tablet from the beginning. Unfortunately, DJI has not made it available for M300 owners to download the current APK files from the M300 website. The current Pilot APK can not be downloaded directly from Google Play Store. I did extract the last Pilot update (version 3.0.1.4) from the transmitter and transferred it to the tablet and it has worked perfectly. DJI, if you aren't going to allow direct download from the Google Play Store can you please make the current Pilot App available for direct download on the M300 website.  Also, after doing some testing and research it seems that none of my DJI apps are working. They all open by flashing a quick screen and then closing. Looking at the reviews for the Go App and Go 4 it looks like it has something to do with an Android update. More than likely DJI already knows about this. Thank you.

Thanks but the app that is available for download is an old version and has never been updated to my knowledge. There were many issues trying to run version 2.4.1.7 on the Huawei tablet. It would run but there were enough bugs that couldn't depend on it. Once I copied and installed the version that was on the radio the 3.0.1.4 worked perfectly and I have used it for about 8 months. I have tried version 2.4.1.7 and it does not work properly. The most recent version 3.0.1.9 seems to work on the Huawei but we have yet to thoroughly test everything. I have a business partner in another state and he was having the same issues on his Huawei with version 2.4.1.7. It's my belief that the most recent issue was caused by an Android 12 update on the S7. Both of our Huawei tablets have never been updated and seem to run fine on the factory OS. As I said before, ALL DJI apps have stopped working on the Tab S7 and will not even open anymore. I completed a hard reset on the tablet last night and still, nothing is working. Of course, the reset didn't include an Android OS downgrade. If you look at the reviews on the Go & Go 4 app there seems to be a recent issue with apps trying to open but then stopping after a quick screen flash.

Just a quick heads up for anyone using the latest Android 12 update. Just got a notice two days ago that my Samsung Note 20 needed an update to the One UI 4 Upgrade. Once I completed the update ALL of my DJI apps no longer work. This also includes the DJI Ronin app.

Completed a factory hard reset back to the original Android 11. The first thing I did was install the most current Pilot app 3.0.1.9 and it opened as expected. Took almost an hour to go thru all the settings with the H20T and P1 and it all seems to be working. Beware of the current version of Android 12.

You need to download an APK file extractor off the internet. You can look on google play and find one that has a high rating. Put the file on a micro sd card and insert it at the top of the radio. Find the APK on the radio and install it. Then use the extractor to locate and save the file to the sd card. Retrieve the APK off the sd card using the computer. Connect the tablet to the computer and save the APK to your tablet. Find the APK on the tablet and install it. Make sure the tablet will allow 3rd party apps to be installed.  I know these were very simple guidelines but it's the basic workflow. NOTE: Careful if installing on a phone or a tablet with the latest Android 12 OS update. Good chance it won't work, at least on a Samsung device.

Hi Mikes1...I would also like to know how do you extract the DJI Pilot app from the controller to put it onto a Tablet. Please explain in laymenas terms...need to do it
I am tired of DJI not updating their software on Google play - you will wait for years for this

Had the same issue after upgrading to 12, the pilot app won't start. Glad to see I'm not the only one now if they would just fix it and make the APK file for the latest version available that would be great. I'm not gonna hold my breath though.

can someone extract apk and share it for Dji Pilot 3.1.1.3 (M300)?
I have tried, but it won't install on Samsung galaxy S6 (Android 11).

The Pilot 3.1.1.3 was listed for a short time on their downloads page but there was a note saying that it was not available for download. Since then DJI has completely removed it. After extracting the APK directly from the radio I found that it would not install on my phone or two other tablets. Obviously, they are having issues running it on anything other than the M300 radio. Hopefully, they will have it working soon. ALSO, if you are unable to run the DJI apps on a device running the latest Android 12, delete the apps and download them directly from the DJI downloads page. There's a good chance they will work. For some reason, the apps on the play store are not current.
