Unfortunately it looks it is not going to change in near future... it would be nice to know more what was fixed or improved.

DJI, Please be more in depth with your release notes!
It's important to us pilots as it can have significant impact on safety and site surveying before using the aircraft.
If a certain feature has changed, some of us might choose to deem it more risky until proven and tested extensively.

What bugs? My drone flies very well. No reason to update.

Why is it so hard DJI to be a bit more forthcoming with what changed or what got fixed?  

I bought air 2 at 12pm at best buy Scarborough, CA..(Jan19,2022)
Its been only 5 hrs, I charged the battery and the controller...got update....now the controller is not working....
It's not even responding..no lights... No beep sound...
Worst experience ever.....
Please do something....

Why is it so difficult for DJI to be transparent in what you are doing? Since we are dealing with aviation, you should take a lesson in safety management systems (ICAO Annex 19). No one expects that your products are perfect as long as you keep improving them. That is why in “real” aviation we have service bulletins (SB) from the OEMs identifying in detail the product changes and improvements.  DJI, if you want to be taken serious in the world of aviation, then change your attitude and behavior.

Because they don't want you to know what was broken in the first place.

I expect they don't want you to know that they just blocked another FCC-Hack or so. Knowing the desasters of the latest fly-app updates i would better not change anything.

Installed the update last night, went flawless without knowing what the bug fixes were. LOL! Guess we should be glad they are supporting these toys! As the saying goes "the difference between men and boys is the price of their toys".  I enjoy mine very much!

Yes, I would appreciate a bit more details of "bug fixed" It would be helpful to know what to expect. I think I will wait to hear more flyer experiences.

Did u make sure the remote is charging when u pluged it in?

Exactly.  

Installed the update today successfully but because of snowstorms I'm not able to make test flight...

This update did not fix the issue connecting iPad Pro 11”.  Still need to plug charger into controller before turning controller on to automatically start the DJI app.   Without plugging charger into controller prior to turning on controller I cannot connect to aircraft.  This needs to be fixed.

As i am living 20km away from an airport i discovered in the radar indicator on the lower left, while an airplane was taking off, a small red plane was showing up at the edge of the radar indicator.
Has DJI finally released with the last update the airplane indication for Europe or was it just a bug of the FlyApp, because i did not get any warning message.

I'm a newbie with less than 1 hour flight time. Went to use my drone this am and camera only showing varying  orange lines top and bottom as per picture

Seems my issue is that I own a samsungS21

You need to plug the cable from the controller into your phone ALL the way in. Your phone case may be blocking it perhaps. Take your phone out of the case and plug the cable in it. I bet your problem is solved.

Hey DJI, you need to go back and fix the bugs you caused in the 1/19/22 update.

I updated and flew on 1/23/22 and  these are the major problems I encountered.

1. At take off in a controlled airspace with LAANC already approved thru AirMap the DJIFLY app repeatedly told my Authorization Failed x 4 then that I was not logged in.  I Shut down the app on phone, the controller and my Air2. Tried again same problem. After 2nd restart DJIFLY allowed take off.

2. 10 min in to my flight I lose camera connection with drone 100 ft up and 100 ft away with no obstructions. I was able to fly the drone however. After landing I had to again shut down all components  and restart everything to regain camera control.

3. The “Fly with caution” voice warning that repeats without any breaks between warnings that continues until the aircraft is in the area leaves, was very annoying and obsessive. I even set the Alert to only go off for extremely close aircraft but this did nothing.

Please fix.

I'm kind of sure now on. Some people send DJI " DJI I need help! Bugs are on my drone! "
And then DJI response " UPDATE THE AIR 2! Fix the bugs! "
So that's how they give us those updates! The bugs are now fixed people! DONT WORRY

Hi, can you please tell me how exactly are you using this approach to connect with iPad Pro? What are the steps? Do you connect charger to the bottom port and turn on controller while the charger is connected and then connect the iPad?

Interesting! Unfortunately only big airliners has mandatory ADS-B. It would be much safer if there was reliable indication system for all airplanes.

has now activated dji in europe for the air 2 ads-b ?

STILL cannot connect to iPad Pro 12.9’ without plugging in controller!1 can you fix it???

Does not look the firmware updated any of my batteries (which it usually does) ... or have I missed something?

Exactly the same thing happens to me, I bought my drone in Mexico, it is not supposed to have ADS, the question is: If it has the ADS chip but they deactivate it by Software?

I have updated to the last version and I can't even do a simple orbit

I had it at the exact same position. Looks like it is a bug.
