Yes I agree. Never have that Problem in Asia but in Europe its a different Story..

Strangely enough, I had another #shorts being pushed like from 0 - 600 views in about an hour time.
Before and after that it was growing very slowly.
I'm going to make a couple more to test if it works like this always.
Even a very boring one (if you ask me) behaved exactly the same. (only some hours later after being published).
The fact that it is even more hard to 'push' these shorts (they don't work well on forums, facebook or whatever), makes me wonder how I can use them to grow my channel.

As I was typing the previous message, apparently the algorithm decided to boost one of my shorts 'again'.
So now I have 2 boosts in views.
As if it 'randomly' decides to boost a shorts video.
Really not sure what is happening here.

All i can say is its by my experiences very random if a short get boosted or not..
you cant count on this

I think the best way to bring your channel forward ist to upload at least 5 new Videos a week!
unfortenelly i dont have the time to do that. so i try to bring one short and one full length video every week

That is guaranteed to give one a burn out in no time.
Even if you only do shorts.
I will try to add a bit more than I used to do, but I will be happy if I hit one every week.

Just read that the shorts don't add to the YPP.
So in essence that means I can't grow to 4000 watch hours by only making shorts.
