The Cheshire Ring is a well-known loop linking several canals around Cheshire, and encroaching into neighbouring counties here and there.
The viewpoint for this shot, taken with the DJI Pocket2, marks the end of the Macclesfield canal section, where one can either turn right
to take the Upper Peak Forest Canal to Buxworth or Whaley Bridge, or left to descend the Marple Lock Flight into the Lower Peak Forest canal
and then onward in the anti-clockwise direction towards Manchester.

Great shot Blériot.    Love that Mini in the background.  

Seems like it could be easy to get lost with all those inter-connecting canals.

Thanks RDB. I think that minicar is a Mercedes Alamy. A bit hard to tell from a distance.
The canals are a bit like railways - you can't get off the rails
If you were to go in either direction on the Cheshire Ring, you would eventually end back where you started.  For me, homeward bound is to the right from the viewpoint of that shot.
I'd footslogged the 8Kms along the towpath, and I may have mentioned I caught the bus back home

Like the warm colors.

Very pretty.  Go left, trust me on this one.

Great composition and colours, hopefully a nearby pub for the boat owners?

Thanks David.  Your turn will come, for the perfect conditions    There were just the ducks and geese to ripple the surface, and maybe the suspicion of a breeze. But no moving boats to muddy the waters. The top lock is closed for dredging and repairs.

I did one successful "through an arch" shot with the Mavic Mini1 ( No forward collison sensor)

If you line the drone up first, they fly it down your eyeline through the arch, with collision sensors off, it should be OK:-

I turn off all sensors fly in ATTI, when try to fly under bridge the GPS lost and signal lost 100% I test it more 5/6 bridges

It's really great that you have good bus service nearby.  Spent a little time with the Navy in Thurso, Scotland so I remember some dull, damp and very windy days.  

Fortunately for us you certainly get around Blériot53. Lots of interesting stuff to see and do.

I hope you can swim before 5/6 years my P3P fall in water, I find it then I disassembled it, let it dry and again fly. The problem was compass error the drone fell uncontrollably.

The only problem I had with my P4 was my own fault. I hit a tree branch and cracked the shell, broke a couple of props. But the machine fell 8 metres onto grass, So after new props and a replacement shell, it flew many more missions before I sold it.

P4 seriera is much better then her old brother’s. I have one crash from 120 meters.. fully broken. The reason was the pins of battery. I was happy because I have care refresh. The fault was not mine. Battery was almost new, 11/12 circles. DJI send me the brand new drone with new battery.

Good to know that care refresh works as advertised. You see a lot of complaints on the forum, so a happy result makes a welcome change
