Hello everyone, I hope you are well.
today I would like to present a particular video to you, indeed the subject is the martyr village of Oradour-sur-Glane.
In June 44 a German division destroyed the village, and methodically killed its inhabitants, regardless of age or sex. Only one woman and five men made it out alive.
A few months later, the provisional government decided to keep the ruins as evidence.

Voilà trois fois que j'ai visité cet endroit tandis que j'étais résident en France (Mayenne);
On ne peut qu'être touché et attristé par l'atmosphère qui envahit l'endroit:
Des amis qui m'ont accompagnés étaient également bouleversé par l'expérience.

Cet endroit m’a toujours profondément touché, on nous parle de la seconde guerre mondiale à l’école, on nous parle de guerre à la télévision, mais ici on touche littéralement ici à cette horreur et on en ressort pas indemne.

Ces images ne servent qu’à renforcer notre tristesse pour les atrocités du passé. Mais l’histoire, hélas, ne nous apprend rien. La preuve ? La situation en Ukraine.

Fantastic video. Great captures. The coloring and the lighting and the music are creating a unique atmosphere! A great remainder for all especially these days
