The snow has mainly all melted.  I didn't fly on this snow episode.  Maybe next time.

I was lower when I saw it then climbed a little to frame the shot. Nearly lost the drone on this flight when a flock of birds flew my space.

No the flock came at me, just a blur of wings.  Unfortunately it’s got an altitude limit so I couldn’t go up to avoid them.

I wish Id been filming to capture the blurry mass of wings that shot by.  Closest Ive come to a bird strike so far.  Went that way again yesterday and there are hundreds of Oystercatchers there which I think could have been what nearly took droney out.

We were watching Attenborough last night. He went out to Bass Rock to see the gannets. Thousands of them. Some brave soul was flying a drone around the for the TV ( an Inspire I expect).

Probably painted bright red to keep them away.   Im planning a return there today for a little bird spotting.
