The Why is for why the vendors start at ND8, Freewell, Skyreat, Tiffen all start at ND8. Skyreat doesn't sell a ND4, Freewell wants $20 for the ND4 by its self, Tiffen, nothing. The cheap stuff starts at ND4 and for other drones they start at ND4, my Mavic 2 Zoom Polor Pro starts at ND4.

So what is the deal with the Mavic Mini 2 (MM2) ND4 filters? Am I missing something about the camera of the MM2?

might be because theres not much point, its a very minimal tint, but I'm just guessing, don't use them on my Mini 2, i may get some yet, but with the P4P, i kept getting gimbal issues, shouldn't have gone cheap i spose...

I just ordered (4 days ago) the Skyreat 6 Pack - CPL, UV, ND8, ND16, ND32, ND64 the 5-Pack ND4PL ND8PL ND16PL ND32PL ND64PL is next months lunch money. But notice there is no ND4, I'll play with my M2Z it has a ND4, the way I understand it is the ND4 is 2 F stops, ND8 3 F stops with ND filters going as high as ND2000 that I've seen for the Mavic drones. Then there are the Landscape Series Gradient ND filters,  Light Pollution Reduction Filter, M2Z Long Exposure DN128, ND256, ND400, ND1000.. A lot of lunch money.. Check out Gradient ND filters
