I have seen ios users being able to export panoramic images in other apps within their device. In my android dji fly app I have only the option to export/share to the phone's gallery. Am I doing something wrong?

Thats a function of the operating system not the app,  it depends on what apps you have installed,  I dont think your doing anything wrong.
