Screen went black after installing new firmware

I've tried to install the firmware v02.02.0607 and during the process, the screen on my controller went black and no longer responds. I cannot connect using DJI Assistant v2.0.1.0.  Any suggestions?  Can the firmware be force-loaded using a memory card?

Please try to download the controller bin file from the official website https://www.dji.com/downloads/products/phantom-4-rtk and move it to the root directory of the SD card, put it to the controller and see if the controller can be updated again. Besides, please try to change the battery and do the firmware update again. If the issue persists, or the controller is not able to be powered on, you may send it back for further service.

Wow!  That was so fast!   I can't believe it's not the preferred way to update the firmware.  Can the P4 also be updated this way?  Thank you so much!

I sell these and like to have them updated prior to delivery, which takes a couple of hours.  This is a game changer.

I am sorry for the belated reply. It is recommended to update the Phantom 4 controller by DJI GO 4 app. May I know if you have encountered any issue updating the Phantom 4 controller?

I am having the same issue, but for me it happened when updating the DRTK2 mobile station firmware. After the screen went black, I rebooted the RC and now the screen flickers rapidly. I downloaded the bin file from the link above, placed it on a microSD and tried to update the firmware. it went from 1% to 3% then said successful. The RC did not automatically reboot and when i turned it off and on the screen still flickers

Black meaning where the video feed should be. Everything else is how it should be. By the way. I see by my name mini. SE2. Thats my sons drone. Im dealing with a mavic pro that has the issues
