I recently picked up an iPad 4 for uses in addition to flying the Mini 2.  Based on adjustability I ordered and just received the DJI Tablet holder.  I also liked how it kinda clamped over the controller rather than held by the antenna assembly.

However, trying it out the tablet does kinda fit but with a degree of difficulty.  The iPad Air 4 is at the absolute limit of the holder.

So, this post is part informational to anyone looking at the same combination and also to see if ther are any other ideas regarding a hoder.

Perhaps I just did not read the specs right, that is on me.

The base can be mounted on the DJI RC-N1 Remote Controller's Mobile Device Holder. The spring clamp at the top centers and holds 7-10 inch tablets firmly. Thank you.

I have used mounts that obscure view of the controls like the DJI tablet holder but went away from using them. I now use a very simple extension that is very inexpensive and holds a tablet well. In addition it comes in at least two different sizes to allow larger tablets.

Is this a NEW holder, I had one just like it and the tension of the spring was reversed, when I contacted Dji, I was told that it could NOT be fixed and get something from someone else.  I Now have a Mavmount.

Yes, it is new.  The spring tension seems fine.  They do spec a 10" tablet for this mount, the Air 4 is a 10.9 inch tablet, guess I assumed there would be some slop.  It will fit with force so, just ordered the Hanatora from Amazon.
