Long abandoned and left to rot. The Dead Pier, captured by the DJI FPV Drone. Wind, gusts of 30mph, drizzle. It did everything to stop me flying, but I ended up with this footage. Stetchy conditions - YES. Should I have flown it ? NO. There was no way I was leaving without some footage though. Hardest flight I have done so far but it was worth the clenching -

Sad to see the pier in such a deteriorated condition.  

Excellent flying in such miserable conditions.

Your FPV's probably got a lot more power to handle that than most camera drones.

She can certainly move mate. Pity she's so shaky in winds less than they were here. Seriously sketchy this one.

Been a cracking week so far, apart from Weds. It chucked it down all afternoon/evening. Gorgeous now for a few days to come so happy.

It started very still but that didnt last long,  its been the worst year for wind that I can remember down here.   Even too bad for kite flying.

Thanks buddy. Under normal circumstances, I would not have flown this but look at it.....It deserved flying, however sketchy the conditions.
