Nice video but.....
That was a ridiculous method of clearing the mud, when the blade went down the digger was able to move maybe 10ft after which all the additional mud it was 'gathering' spilled out the slides of the blade, everything else in that 'scrape' was a waste of time and money.
They have done better with men and brushes.

I agree. There had to be a much better way of clearing away the soft mud. Perhaps high pressure water hoses or as it is Jamaica, wait until it dries out ( shouldn't take long) then use said diggers and brushes for what digger cannot remove.
