Here is a video demonstrating the use of telemetry subtitles in a Mini 2 video.  Created with Final Cut Pro.


I amended the original cluttered data to be something rather less busy and more meaningful.

Nice work. I've seen something similar as a feature of the Parrot Bebop2 belonging to a friend.

By the old Greenham Common airforce base, site of the anti-nuke protests in the 1980s...

However the GPS coords that pop up from the original telemetry display are about 2km off according to Google Earth... strange.

Almost right there No Original Thought.  The footage with the old-style subtitles was taken at a different place.



The video was taken around the top of the yellow line, while the old footage was around the bottom of it.  As you can see, about 1.5 Km apart.

I spotted it was taken in the UK by the road markings to start with and wondered where it was... then I realised you had a clip of raw telemetry subs :-)

Here is another Windows utility that will do this.

It's pretty straight forward:

• Browse for the .srt file.
• Preview the file if you'd like.
• Check the boxes of the items you want to keep.
• Process the changes.
• Save the new .srt file.
