More trainspotting from Ely. A Greater Anglia train heading to Ipswich from Ely and an East Midlands train approaching Ely station.
Quite the day to go flying and trainspotting.

Yes, all the trains with one battery, I basically lurked in the spot that I’d recce’d last time; a busy station…and one battery for the Cathedral.. Purchased the fly more combo, so one battery left in case. But by then, the sun was getting higher and the light less glow’y

Nice with the cathedral in the background.

Very cool footage.   Definitely a two-fer.  

I recognise that train,  sure I saw one of those at the viaduct.

Definitely, the default Greater Anglia trains now, all swiss made and shiny...about time though...

Were they introduced just before Covid.  I seem to recall a sighting of one being stored in a field somewhere.

Good memory, yes, stored at a cutting near Morley station...my video of them as a steam train passed got me blocked from the group's FB page...he ho, have drone will film!
