Hi,

I just bought my DJI pocket 2 camera two weeks ago and I have been reading and watching tutorials. I am hapyy with my purchase except for one thing and I am not sure if it's just me doing it all wrong or there's something wrong with my unit. I adjust the waypoints using my iphone connected via bluetooth.

The problem occurs in the motion timelapse that I have been practicing. during my first attempt I recorded 2 secs interval for 1 hour whch according to what's showing on the screen is that the total recorded time should be 1 minute. I did three way points doing a triangular motion from top going down right then down left. But it only recorded two waypoints and only recorded 31 secs. I watched it record for the whole 1 hour i am not sure what happened it only resulted to 30 seconds instead of 1 minute.

so i tried again the second time. I did a 30 minute recording with 3 waypoints it should be 30secs timelapse as a result. but no, it only recorded whole 2 waypoints and it only moved a bit to the 3rd waypoint, i also watched it record for the entire 30 minutes but the result is only 16 seconds.

right now I am recording again and it's all the same. it's not caputring the last way point correctly. it tried 4 waypoints it moved to the 3rd and it added speed when it moved to the 4th waypoint.

can you give me tips on how to position my waypoints correctly? there might be a setting that i missed doing?

Thank you in advance for your tips and help.

update:
I just tried doing it by selecting L-R instead of the custom mode. This time, i selected 20 minutes for 20 sec timelapse. but again did not complete the video. it only recorded half for only 10 seconds.

I have a Pocket 1 and just tried a time-lapse. I have done this before without problems. I set a time-lapse of 4 second intervals for 1 hour. This created a 30 second video as expected. It shot 15 photos every minute (60/4=15) for 1 hour or 60 minutes. This created 900 photos (15 x 60 = 900). My video was set for 30 frames per second. So 900 photos with 30 frames per second creates a 30 second video (900/30 = 30). I am guessing you are doing everything correctly but may have your video set for 60 frames instead of 30 frames per second. This will produce a video of half the time expected. Thus your 2 second interval (60/2=30) for 1 hour will give you 1800 photos (30x60=1800). At a frame rate of 60/sec you end up with a 30 second video instead of 60 second video (1800/60=30). I hope this will explain your results

Try checking your video frame rate. If it is set for 60 frames per second instead of 30 frames per second you will get a time that is half the time you were expecting.
