Pleaaaase add gyro data.I want to use dji action 2 and not forced to sell for the competitor product...please!

Much of the fpv community does not use this camera due to the insufficient internal stabilization.
Gyro data would enable to use this cam with gyroflow which does a better job.
Also the weight and form factor is superior and unique on the market. Only this missing feature drives people away..

Hey DJI, remember that you have one camera named Action 2? Could you listen to us, the dumbass customers that we bought this product?

DJI has always been deaf to its clients, like OSD in air units. I don’t believe DJI makes this presents to its own clients. That is why I chose Insta Go2

if there is no update before the rumoured session 6 comes out my action 2 is being sold as well as the rest of my DJI stuff.  Walksnail is becoming a real threat and appears to be listening to the community.

I will go for GoPro Hero 10 Bones. I can't wait, I really see this forum every day waiting for a miracle, I mean, at least one new firmware with Rocksteady issues solved.
But not.
I'm really angry, DJI isn't listen us anymore. It's not like other years.
I'm tired of being the betatester of all their products with biased reviews and when you buy the product, you see the multiple flaws.

Im' looking for an action cam and I wanted to buy the action 2 for its size and weight to mount on a drone but I see that it does not have the gyro data.
So I hesitate to buy it, maybe the gopro 11 mini or caddx Walnut ?

We need gyro data. We are in 2022.
You charge a lot of money for something really useless to the FPV Profesional community.

-ALL cameras have it.
-DJI ACTION 2 is a joke and no threat to 360 or gopro without it. (DJI action2 is simply out of the equation when selecting something for works)
- We dont need osmo3, we need this small and light camera with gyrodata. is not that difficult to understand our needs.

It's unbelievable. Today I took some FPV footage with my GoPro Hero 8 and I tried Reelsteady. It's really MARVELOUS. The footage quality it's incredible, the smoothness it's cine grade.

And my Action 2, a product 3 years more new, can't use in GyroFlow.

It is not clear why DJI is still ignoring this topic, given how many people are waiting for this feature. It's not 10-100 people on the forum. This is a large market of tens of thousands of buyers who, without gyro data, opt for GOPRO, not DJI.

Makes me regret every time I saw the camera. I'm still using GoPro, I like so much the balance between video quality and weight in this camera... but without gyro data, the results are definitely not "professional".

With Reelsteady and GoPro, it's so easy and the results are stunning. I prefer more weight but serious footage. Action 2 it's light with very good IQ, but without gyro, only works for anecdotic freestyle footage, not for real work.

For fpv Video  files i can use FC Data, but i dont use it only for fpv flying. So will look for the gopro 11 Mini.

I would like to turn off camera EIS maybe it will save even some battery and gyroflow stabilizes much better and i can choose how much to stabilize and so son ... plsssssss it must be so easy to just output gyro data that are already there.

All the FPV community we still waiting an answer from DJI.

I hope that at least DJI told us "yes" or "no". Actually, they don't hear us

And yes, they know about the glitch on roll and poor stabilization when you have 1/120 locked shutter speed (4K60 + 1/120 SS). GoPro have A WORLD of difference under the same circunstances. HyperSmooth it's so good that it's enough for almost all shots, and if you have work and need the BEST footage, Reelsteady it's MAGIC.

If this camera can't handle enough EIS on FPV, LET US APPLY STABILIZATION IN POST WITH GYRO DATA!!!!!!!!

I join the request of this topic. Gyro data is what this camera really needs. This would solve its shortcomings and the camera would be one level higher. Thank you!

Actually Action2 was the first product to have IMU data.
However develop team has to shift to Avatar since there is lots teamwork to do with gyroflow.
Now the imu data thing works fine and we are making it to Action2... still needs some time
