I bought this camera for fpv drones.  Unfortunately, the lack of gyro data disqualifies it for me.  I will not buy anything from DJI again.

Since not enough people have expressed their need for gyro data I thought I would chime in.

On a more serious note, this will be useful not only for FPV but also for motorsport application for mapping g-forces on track. I am not sure how accurate the measurements are but I am sure it will be useful for this application considering smartphones can be set up for it. There are advantages of having the data from the recording device, especially if the measurements are good.

Also, in regards to manual post-stabilisation it gives the user the ability to tune and adjust stabilisation and also gives you creative freedom to do with the footage as you like.

Bottom note, at the end of page 3 there seem to be official word on this feature being implemented at an unknown point in the future.
