Did you received any specifics from DJI yet? Gyro data might help a lot with footages in low light and I think we must push them to make this happen.

Actually Action2 was the first product to have IMU data.
However develop team has to shift to Avatar since there is lots teamwork to do with gyroflow.

That's big news!
I'm absolutely happy with my Action 2 but was on the fence to switch to Gopro for that, even if UI and overall usability are much worse. But my Experiences with Gyro Stabilization on AVATA are great, so now I'm waiting, and even buy a second Action 2.

That is indeed nice to hear. I strongly hope it will eventually come, and will check regulary to see how it goes!

There is still no gyro data update for the Action 2?  It's the main reason I haven't bought one yet.. The form factor is ideal for FPV.   I hope DJI releases an update with an SD card, a replaceable battery, and Gyrodata / Gyroflow support.

Dji give us some news; if this isn't possible just say it. I'm waiting a lot for the possibilty to use gyro data of the Action 2 cause for me it's perfect to use on 2,5'' drones.  I don't like  Naked cameras and i love Dji action 2, it's perfect. But i need to stabilize in Gyroflow cause internal Rocksteady 2 isn't perfect to give as a product work. I hope for an answer. Thanks anyway for all!

Yes please, one more asking for this feature....

It's been approximately a year waiting for a simple feature. They worked with Gyroflow for the Avatar, they should just push that collaboration to the other action cam'!
YouTubers would be so pleased to show how good their stabilized videos are !!!

I'm still waiting the miracle, and hold on the temptation of sell my Action 2...

Let's go DJI! We want to make stable videos so we Don't want Just Images! ;)

NINE MONTHS WAITING...

But I will keep posting here because these tiny change in the firmware it means A REALLY HUGE GAME CHANGER for the DIY FPV world.

+1 with this. And for sure I will not buy Action 3 to have GyroFlow because the weight... for these task I have GoPro+Reelsteady with awesome results.

We need this camera with gyro data. Almost year 2023 and we have one camera that does 4K120, high bitrate, H265, horizon level, all in less than 60grs and THEY CAN'T RELEASE A SINGLE FIRMWARE WITH GYRO DATA???

I'm so angry with DJI for this maneuvers...

DJI have forgotten all Action 2 buyers. Shame on you.

Just giving that thread a bump. A lot of us still wait for gyro data on the Action 2

DJI will not give us gyro data on our Action 2.
They have gyro in Avata
They have gyro in the new DJI O3 VTX

So... DJI forgive us.
I bought Hero 10 Bones and with Reelsteady it's unbelievable. Bye bye DJI, I will never buy another "Action cam" from you.
