If DJI engineers added Waypoints mode to the firmware, but with the end of the mission when the signal from the remote control is lost, it would be great! This mod is sorely missed. Let not completely autonomous, but at least such as I suggested.

Yeah I have 1.5.9 on my android. Who knows what they do.

Have done the update but still no battery updates , the last update I couldn’t do battery’s as well. Any one else have the same ?

Not showing for Android on DJI download site.  Shows 1.5.8 but when you download it is 1.5.9  So not sure what is up with DJI on this release.

There are no battery updates in this FW. Battery updates occur infrequently,  and onky when a chage if smart parameters or bug fixes are implemented.  Check your battery firmware level to confirm you are at the current release. When required,  you will get notifications every power cycle where you have a back-level battery.

Thanks for the explanation. All batteries are up to date and working fine.

1.5.10 build 1070 is available now for Android.

Did anyone test Fly App 1.5.10 yet? I want to know before updating.

I did this update, the last one, and my Mavic air 2 start to have problems with the gimbal. To be more exactly I have on the screen the error “gimbal motor overload”

The glitch I experienced is I can't get the firmware to update.  Never had this problem before with any of my DJI drones.  Tried everything and DJI Support couldn't figure it out either and said they never heard of the error codes I was getting.  So sent it in for diagnosis.

Same here. A very pesky problem getting the firmware to update from 01.01.07.10 to 01.01.07.20. It times out with "RETRY" or in the app Failed(Code:-3005)

My fw. update went well through Fly app (I updated fw. prior to 1.5.10 app update BTW).

Sorry to hear that.  Exactly same error code I got.  

I see virtual posted below me that he was able to get the update done through a previous version of the Fly App.  Unfortunately, I didn't try that and went ahead and sent it in as DJI Support recommended.

That's because DJI is outsourcing support to an external tech support company.

Mavic Air 2 with Smart Controller. I successfully updated the firmware for my Mavic Air 2 last week (23 Feb 2022) to version 01.01.0720.  I experienced no problems before the firmware upgrade. I flew the Mavic this past Saturday and again just a few minutes ago (28 Feb 2022).  In the “Normal” mode (“P”), the right stick will not move the drone to the left or right.  It will move the aircraft forward and back. In the other flight modes (“T” and “S”), the right stick maneuvers the aircraft as expected (right-left-forward-back). Suggestions, please.  Thank you.
