I’m looking at two drones to get but wanted some input from you all.

It’s between the Mavic Air 2 and the Air 2S.

I love the idea of the 48 mp camera on the Air 2 but Mastershots looks like a great idea for the 2S but is it worth sacrificing a better 48 mp camera for a 20 mp camera just cause it can go a little farther and has the Mastershots. Please give me your take. Thanks!

I'd go with the A2S. The 48 MP is not real as not every pixel has all color/light information. There's been a lot of talk about the 48MP mode and  people didn't seem impressed by it. The larger sensor and the "real" 20 MP in the A2S should be much better...

I'd have been attracted by the 48Mp until your explanation.

Air 2S out of the two unless you need to fly in cold conditions.

I love my Air 2 but if you plan to use Mastershots a lot then you'd be better to get the Air 2S.  You really can't go wrong either way.

Thanks everyone I love my SE for such a low budget drone and all that it offers at that level. My wife was talking about learning how to fly and I’d like to get one of those to get more professional and maybe start doing this as a business and getting licensed to start making money in the side till I can go full time. I love flying and finding a way to get out of working in a shipyard would be great lol.

Air2s is worth the Extra 100$
