A quick timelapse of Wymondham Abbey during storm Eunice, Feb 22nd 2022.

In places the wind was gusting a lot, but so far, so good.

Depiste gale force winds today, and the authorities telling folks to stay at home and not travel ( the Norwich to Cambridge line is shut here ) the local, enthusiast railway had planned that today was to be the day that their shiny new signal box would be delivered by low loader and installed. I love how they carried this out despite the storm...Sadly I didn't get earlier footage as I stumbled across them working..
Sorry there are no trains, but a signal box...

Nice, like the "flashing" of the sun on the church!

Well done for braving the elements to get this footage. I stayed warmly indoors for my version

I'll bet. I see on the news that part of St.Thomas' church steeple at Wells has been blown off by the storm.

Nice lighting effect as the clouds stream by...

Yeah, still quite a bright moon, so for astronomy purposes am not too bothered, last year we did have persistent snow and it was much colder...small mercies?

Woke up to still and bright with overnight frost. But our daughter who lives in the next valley says the weather has just clobbered them with wind and snow - so we kno what to expect any minute

It's just breezy with spatters of rain and a hint of sleet. We seem to have been spared the worst.  Still no flying opportunities though.

Not for a few weeks here I think, next week looking rough, and the week after…When does Sprung begin, April?

They are brave,  if it was anything like here that could have gone badly wrong.

15th March, supposedly. But the global weather seems to have shifted the seasons a bit in the last couple of decades.
