Great shot DA.    What are the requirements for registering the boat's name?  Meaning, where does the name have to be placed.

Usually the back ?

Name can be on the rear of the boat.

One of these days DA you're going to fool us with a fully functioning floating boat Oh hang on you've already done that plus a couple of kayakers too.

Same here.   I was hoping to get out for a walk yesterday but the weather didnt cooperate.   Maybe later,  SHMBO'd has a blood test later so depends how long we get tied up for that.

I don't see a name indeed.

It's so odd that these boats just sit there until high tide.  Do the people just jump out or live there a bit?

Managed to get a short walk in the end of the day,  but it was still very windy.    They shut the tidal barrier again and a god job too -

This was a few miles down the coast.

There is usually a launch at the yacht club that takes you out and picks you up again.

I live on a hill and there is a flood zone but thats stops about 150 ft down the hill from me,   It would have to be catastrophic for me to get wet.

That's reassuring. Although we're in a valley, the gorge on the other side of the road is at least 30 metres deep, so the chances of flooding are nil.

There still is. It will continue for days, with the runoff from  the surrounding hills.
