Shot in a stretch of only about a 1/4 mile along the New River, Fort Lauderdale downtown is an odd mix of a clean modern city... that also happens to have parallel parking for yachts.
As was the theme with my video of nearby Las Olas Beach from the same day, I wish I had been able to get more footage but I had to cancel my 2nd day of shooting. I'll be back, though!

One of the hardest parts of doing the editing is selecting music that fits the mood of what I'm trying to create with the footage I have. If you cruise through my channel, you will find all sorts of music/mood combos. This one just begged to be "groovy" and "relaxing".

Editing seems to always be a bit easier than selecting the best fitting music. You knocked it out of the park with the background of this video. Besides, who doesn't love a sax?

Yeah, I was talking to Chris Biela about that last fall... how much time we spend just listing to clips of music while our raw footage is running in another monitor... "does this fit?" About the only thing you can do while shooting that is say, "this is the kind of feel I'm looking for" which then informs your filtering of the royalty free music which then informs the actual editing you are going to do.
