NO MATTER THE SETTINGS, MY DRONE ANNOUNCES AT AROND 50 YARDS THAT THE MAX DISTANCE HAS BEEN REACHED..

Hello there LAD347. I am sorry for the trouble this has caused and thank you for reaching out. Kindly please check if you have beginners mode box checked on the DJI Fly application. Please start up your DJI Mini 2 and you can change these parameters on the DJI Fly application while your Drone is switched on. Thank you.

Took the drone (mini 2) to one of my dev sites, and it went far enough to get out of sight...
brought it back home, and its back to the 50 yards or so...
no restrictive areas on the map, other than an airport flight cone about three miles away from my home..
