Hello all,

I owned a S22 Ultra and tested the actuall DJI Mimo App with my DJI Pocket 2. When connecting it shows a black screen, no camerapictures.

Wit my S21 Ultra the same DJI Mimo App works with DJI Pocket 2.

I think I had the same problem last year with the S21 Ultra and it worked after an App-Update.

I live in Germany, so i think i got an Exynos Processor in my S22 Ultra.

Tested the 1.7.12 and the 1.3.4 App.

Got anyone the S22 with Mimo and Pocket 2 working?

Any ideas to solve my problem?

Mimo not workiing on my S22 Ultra with a Snapdragon Processor.  However, it does work with the DJI Fly App.

Installing unknown apps is already activated.

Hi, could you tell me the firmware version of the DJI Mimo? Besides, please try to restart the device and test again. If the problem persists, please provide the following information for us.
1. The model of the phone
2. A screenshot of the OS of the phone
3. The model of the device
4. A video of the issue described

Do you have an Exynox or an Snapdragon processor?

I have threads that list DJI Pocket 2-compatible and non-compatible phones and tablets. Those threads also list possible troubleshooting tips. Maybe those could help you? Keep in mind that if your device model is not yet mentioned on the lists and you happen to test it, you can report your results with the tests on those same threads to update the list and help others in the same situation. Hi Duffy66, sorry for the inconvenience.   MIMO 1.7.16 will fix this issue.

It is because of the decoding compatibility issue for Android 12 on S22. we will arrange a software decode(more compatible for android phones ) in next update.

I think many people will be glad to see the next version!  The last one seems to have caused problems for a number of people whose phones worked fine with Mimo before.

Do you have any idea, when the 1.7.16 is rolled out?

thank you for the Beta-Version.

I deinstalled the old Mimo app, restartet the device and installed your version.

Not working, black screen ;-(

I deleted App-Cache and Data-Cache and tested oncemore ... without success.

Do you need any informations from me?

the issue is the same as in my first post:

I can connect the mimo-App to the pocket 2 ... and i can move the camera, the app is working okay, as on my S21 Ultra ... but the screen is black, no picture.

The download was okay, i installed your app without problems.

I searched for the log - file yesterday evening with 3 file-manager, no found.

Will i have to activate logging?

I recently switched from an S21 Ultra where the App worked fine to an S22 Ultra and got the black screen, too.

Looking forward to a fix since I happen to own 2 heavily expanded Action2's meanwhile.

BTW.
are there any plans to enable non WIFI based live streaming via RTMP to the DJI Mimo App?
I would love to do occasional IRL live streaming but the app demands a WIFI network to connect to rather than trying to use the mobile data network.
Using e.g. Twitch's internal function would required to do a screen capture... but besides requiring a working video preview in the App ;) it would also show all the user interface items which isn't quite what I want.

The Beta-App works like a charme ;-)

I will test a little more later this day, but my first tests were super.

@All: Version 1.7.14 will fix the problem for S22 Ultra with Exynos-processor ;-)

KLeiner Tipp: nimm eine QR-Code Generator Webseite und füttere ihn mit dem Link, dann auf den Handy abfotografieren und schon klappt der download ;) Habs gerade so gemacht...

Ergebnis: Liveview funktioniert mit meinem S22 Ultra jetzt !

Quick hint, use a QR-code generator website and feed it the web link. Use the camera with code and the download on the mobile will work. Just did it this way myself..

Result: Liveview works with the S22 Ultra now !
