I have a Spark that used DJI Go4 and a Mini 2 that uses DJI fly. Both worked with my S20. Got an S22 and DJI Go4 won't open, flash screen for a second and closes. DJI Fly opens for the Mini 2 but the phone and the controller don't seem to be talking. Hoping DJI updates Go 4 but any insight on the phone and Mini 2 controller talking? I do have a different cable to clear my phone case but it worked before and the phone and controller saw each other, the controller started charging but the phone said the controller was in charge and the app never showed a connection.

Hello there manikqile. I am sorry for the trouble this has caused and thank you for reaching out. Upon checking the mobile device ( Samsung S22 Ultra ) that you want to use on the DJI Go 4 application and on the DJI Fly application. I am sorry to say that the said mobile device is not yet recommended for these DJI applications. DJI suggests using a recommended mobile device for these DJI applications for compatibility and reliability purposes. There is a possibility that the Samsung S22 Ultra will be able to work on the DJI Go 4 application and on the DJI Fly application. But however, since it's not yet optimized for both DJI applications we cannot guaranteed if it will work all the time and if it will be able to run all the functions of the DJI Go 4 application and DJI Fly application while using it. For reference I will post a link where in you can check the recommended mobile devices for the DJI Go 4 application ( https://www.dji.com/downloads/djiapp/dji-go-4 ) and for the DJI Fly application ( https://www.dji.com/downloads/djiapp/dji-fly ). In addition, please rest assured that DJI is continuously testing multiple mobile devices to be added on the recommended mobile device list for the DJI Go 4 application and for the DJI Fly application. Thank you.

Do you have an Exynos processor in your S22 Ultra?  Just asking as I have the S22 Ultra with an Snapdragon processor and no issues for using it with the DJI Fly App.  However, the Mimo App doesn't work.

I tested dji fly app with my s22 ultra with exinos processor end the mini 2 seems perfectly connected and seems all work good. In the next days I'll try to tests all functionalities included in app.

On the surface it looks like it works for me, but when pressing the record video button the video feed freezes until you stop the recording. My S22 Ultra is a Exynos CPU model.

I've literally just traded in my S10+ as well, so am left unable to use my Mini 2 right now. What kinda time frame are we looking at a fix?

Edit: Seems that this issue is occuring when selecting when capturing 4K 25fps and 4K 30fps modes. It does not freeze when selecting 4k 24fps.

Same here, using a s22 ultra with exynos processor. Can record no issue with live feed apart from 4k 30fps option which is annoying

I have an s20+ and have the same issue on both the dji go and DJI fly apps. They open for a second and then close. This just began after the last Samsung update. I'm on Android 12. This is concerning because I just ordered a Samsung s22 ultra and now it appears I won't be flying until dji figures this out. Disappointing

This is for the DJI Mini SE

For me, it is inconceivable, unacceptable, that a company like DJI not release working software on the day of the launch of its new flagship phones.  It's not about rewriting all the software, but just compiling it for a new GPU so I guess that's the only problem here.

DJI my question when exactly will the new version be released?  How many days does it take?  One or two?

Many thanks,
Mirek

I'm running into somewhat of the same issue as OP. I tried to open the app I had over 3 times. Just flashed the splash screen and closed. When I go to download the new APK, it downloads, but it ends up just looking like a peice of paper in downloads. When I click to install, it says "this file cannot be downloaded." - S22 Ultra/Mini 2 user.

I Contacted DJI regarding a fix for S22 Ultra and also Android 12 and this was their response.

Thanks for contacting DJI technical support.
