Opened in 1854, and connected to the national rail network in early 1860's the station at Whaley Bridge sports this original stained glass emblem above the entrance.Developed in the time of the London and North-Western Railway.  One for @Montfrooij . taken with the Pocket2

Nice,  we went out for a walk and a little fly and just after I sent the M2P up the wind picked up and nearly knocked me off my feat,  brought the M2P back and had really trouble landing as the wind was causing it to pitch and it just wouldn't drop that last foot until the wind subsided for a moment.

Rather like my experience the other day. I had to position myself with my back to the wind to shelter the drone a little as it came in to land the last couple of feet.
Our excursion yesterday was just with the pocket 2.

Hoping today is better,   SHMBO'd has a bone xray first thing,  and then Ive found a creek with more boat wrecks hopefully thats between two airports but just outside the NFZ,  so hoping for a walk and some photography.

She was in and out of the hospital before her appointment time, which was good,   then we drove down to Barling Creek and saw some Emu and geese (although I thought bird flu meant they are supposed to be indoors) and had a miserable cold windy walk along a single track path.  She was glad t get home.

Some days are like that.  We have llamas nearby but no emus.  Just the occasional cormorant.
