This microphone really looks like it works great.

So unless there is a drone upgrade I want to spend them on, I will save the credits for this one.

That depends on a couple of things.
- How good is it, compared to M2.
- What does the EASA do
- Price.
- How fast and long does it fly
I know the M2 gets quite a bit of flight time on paper, but the MP did better in practice. Or at least more reliable.
And MP was way better in the connection and speed. Which I sometimes need when chasing a train.

Judging by the amount of flight hours I have with the M2, I'm not going to invest a lot, so a lot will depend on the price too.

Video title should be "after 3 months of delays"... really poor job from DJI. If it does not come out in the next few days I will go with the Rode Go 2.

I think for me it will come down to the price and the gilmbal,   rumours are it will do vertical shots again but may only be a 2 axis.   And it has to be able to do -90 like the Mavic Pro2 can do.

as it's still not released, and no1 in dealership can confirm any dates I went with Rode
on paper DJI is way better, but in reality... DJI is only in hands of few reviewers and that's it. I do not wanna wait few weeks for non-existing product :/

Thats what some of the YouTubers are saying. but then they remembered they all had sparks with a 2 axis gimbal and it was fine.

Nope.
It was not fine.
At least not always. Especially faster sideways flying, but also a lot of complex movements were not smooth

Im sure the reviews will shred it if its bad,  once the get over the gps issues.

Exactly, maybe they have found some magic trick that can compensate better.

Yeah, makes you wonder if it has anything to do with the war.
There have been reports of unusual GPS activities in Finland too.

I saw the Finland reports as well,   I know the US government can change the accuracy and turn it off in some cases,   they did that over Iraq during the invasion,   and Ive seen when sailing during war time the accuracy leap around a lot.

Not so much hacked but blocked.   You can even buy blockers on amazon for not much $$$

Not good if you are waiting for a flight,  they wont let the plans take off without gps.  a bit like the Mavic 3.

Seems like they were holding back with more stupid things when they started. Now it is 'all in'.

I was hoping that this would work with the DJI Fly program I use to take videos with the drone.  BTW, DJI is mainly known for making drones.  I was hoping to add narration to my drone videos.  I figured that since this was a DJI mic, and it hooks up to my phone that I use to fly my drone, that I could add narration to the video, instead of just watching a silent drone video.

I tried to chat online with the DJI people, but all they could tell me was what was in the FAQs.  They couldn't tell me if the DJI Mic would work with the DJI Fly program.  You'd think they'd know.

So, as far as I can tell, this is just a wireless microphone to be used with photography, making youtube videos, etc.

If someone knows differently, I'd welcome the information.

You used to be able to do this with Record Audio with Video Cache option in the go4 app,  I guess they dropped it because no one used it.
